Hold Your Hands Up & Smile For the Camera! But Don't Puke On Me!

At School:
I. love. Roller Coaster.
I love the sheering feeling of adrenaline that bursts through you as a launch down the track. I love the thrill you get when you feel like you are in danger but also enjoying the time as well. I'm an adrenaline fanatic and I love seeking out new ways to fuel it. Roller Coaster definately make the top three - also playing a new video game always spikes my adrenaline... But that's just me.

Yesterday was Sunday, obviously since it's Monday today. My family and I went to Six Flags for no particular reason. But we love to go around Halloween time because they dress up the entire park! They put creepy displays, skeletons, zombies, ghouls, and ghosts everywhere! I remember last year in one particular part of the park, there were zombies roaming around. Employees dressed up covered in blood and wearing tatter clothes and chased after you. It was crazy! And they never broke a grimace. We love going just so we can see what the park looks like!

I'm going to tell you my top 3 favourite rides.

3. The first roller coaster was the Boomerang. It's a turquoise and orange ride that goes at a speed of 60 mphs and goes forwards... and backwards. Once your strapped in, you back up and get pulled up 40 stories high. It's really scary because you're literally looking down at an almost perfect angle. It's crazy and the scariest part is you can hear the cables twinging and you can hear it release. The first time I rode it - this was my second time - me and my sister, Emily rode it together. We both her the cable release and for a slit second you're just there - a second some don't even know - and we both inhaled and screamed at the same time. It was so awesome. It goes through a loop, corkscrew, another corkscrew and then a loop and then you are towed back up 40 stories and then you do the entire track... backwards Awesome.

2. The Poltergiest. The thing looks menacing before you even get in line. It's a confusing knot of blue and yellow track. But this is got to be the most heart-hammering ride of all... but unfortunately not my number one. Few facts. It goes from 0 to 60 mphs in 3.5 seconds. No joke. This thing lauches - this thing friggin' LAUNCHES into an array of track. It's crazy and it's so fast that and the turns, shifts, and twists are so sudden that you don't get but a slight seconds notice to see what's going to happen next. Towards the end, it was crazy - you're so close to the ground and I was seriously ducking in my seat because I thought the tracks zooming above my head would it me. It was so fun! Gotta love it... and I had the longest adrenaline surge EVER.

3. The Scream. This is a tower and it looks very uneventful but let me tell you... don't let the boring appearence get you down. This is definately one of the most pleasing rides. It's a tower that uses pressure to launch you up about... oh gosh, hundreds of feet into the air and then drop again. You have the most fantastic feeling as you shoot upward, you lift from your seat and all of your insides shift, making you feel utterly weightless. So fantasic. You shoot up and stay there for a brief second and then fall but not all the way down - just half way and then it raises you back up to the top and you get a true definition of how friggin' high you are. You can see for miles. And then - you don't know when to expect to drop again. Amazing feeling again. Me and my dad were riding it and I was screaming the entire time. And I actually listened to my scream and it was pretty girly and pathetic. Lol. The. Best. Ride. Of. My. Life.

Of course, there are boatloads of other rides there but those were just my top three favourites.

The last ride was called Bug's Bunnies White Water Rapids and it's a log ride. If you're heard of something called the "log ride", it's all the same. It was very uneventful to me... I was expecting a lot more and was disappointed when it ended. But, me and my dad were sitting in the front seat. I had already told them, "I'm going to sit in the front because the water hits the from and sprays onto the people in the back.
I was wrong.
No, the two dramatic drops only sprinkled me but I got my entire lower portion of my body soaked, my jeans! We were towed up an incline and there was a short decline and once we hit it, all of this water pours into the front seats and me and my dad get drenched... and we had to eat at Whataburger afterwards... -.- Like that really boosted my ego for the day. It looks like I had an extremely bad accident that affected my entire jeans... one of my converse was lighter than the other...

Overall, I had a good time. And I'm surprised I actually had a voice today. My voice was decent. There's a bit of a groggiliness to it but other than that I sound fine! What I hate about my voice is that it's a naturally deeper voice - no I don't sound like a man... but one of my imitations sounds perfectly like a man. The bright side is that my voice isn't high-pitched, I'm-on-helium-all-the-time-voice.
Here's the downside, whenever my voice is crappy I sound like a man. And I don't mean an adolesent man... I mean a MAN. Creepy huh?

Do you like rollar coaster? Well, I won't know until you comment and say so. What are your favourite rides... or are you a scaredy-cat? Lol. Get it? Halloween - scaredy-cat? Haha... Dry humour, gotta love it.....

P.S: I'm slowly adding names to signature. I wonder how many I'll have by 2011... O_O

Those sound like such cool rides! It really sounds like you had a great time!
I used to love roller coasters...until my dad told me this creepy story of some people having heart attacks on roller coasters when I was 7(he's afraid of roller coasters) and I never went on them again. However, when I did decide to conquer my fear, I was so friggin' terrified. I kept screaming for the ride to stop and my mom and my sister and my brother (who loves roller coasters by the way) kind of glared at me for ruining their ride.

  3. Chiaki,

Ugh, I hate how people try to scare you into not doing something. That's what happened. There's a ride at Six Flags called the Superman and... my sister was all nervous about getting on.
    Me: C'mon Emily! Let's go!
Emily: Uh, didn't a girl get her legs chopped off?
Me: That's because she FAINTED! Now let's go!

Yes, a girl lost both of her legs because she was boarding the ride and she fainted, fell off and into the machinery... you can fill in the details. But the probability of that happening AGAIN were very slim. It's a ride and if it's potentially dangerous, don't you think they would shut it down? Yeah, that's what I thought.

Lol! Ruined the ride, hardly! I would have just been laughing at you. My sister like screams bloody-friggin-murder and I'm-seeing-a-murder-before-my-eyes and don't-rape-me scream. It sounds so distressed but it's so funny to watch her face.

  6. Yeah, Adrian, but that ride friggin' BUTCHERED me. My neck aching like hell the next day. Gage rode it... it was hilarious. He gets off and we meet him and my dad at the exit; Gage says, "My neck kinda hurts."

    ME: I WONDER WHY!
