The Dugger Family; Need I Say More?

Well, hi guys! Good afternoon, morning, evening, night, or whatever time you happen to be reading this blog. If you haven't noticed, first of all; wow, but I have made my blog match Valentine's Day all ready! *claps* I love Valentine's Day despite the fact the only Valentine's I have are my besties and my parents... But, whatever. So, I made my blog match it a bit; background, logo, etc.

Let's go through an overview of my weekend:

Saturday -

I was so over-joyed when I was able to wake up at 8:30 instead of 6:20. I have been savoring sleep like it was some type of rare chocolate or something... My dad brought some breakfast tacos and donuts for breakfast. Those were good. And Saturday was also the day whenever I was going to go get my haircut. All I really needed was it to be trimmed and layered again - and that's all. We went into the place to get my hair cut and we wait about five minutes before a lady calls out my name... incorrectly... She said, "Chelsa." >.> I let that one slide. But... I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND HER TO SAVE MY LIFE! I don't know if it was the hispanic accent and the braces combined but I just COULDN'T UNDERSTAND HER! I felt like a total idiot for looking at her with a crazy look and then saying incredulous, "What?" I don't normally have to really LISTEN to someone talk to me but this lady was just impossible to understand. And the haircut was okay... it doesn't look any different... -_-

Sunday -

Sundays for me are always my homework days and they're also Football days. That's when my dad camps out on the couch and watches/yells at the TV all day. I get a front row seat with all of his shouting from the room near the living room. It's actually really funny to hear him scream at the TV to something like this, "GO, DUDE! WHAT?! FUMBLE! GET IT, GET IT!" or "WHAT? A FLAG? Gosh-dang it, LET'S GO GUYS!" And so on and so forth.
It is a homework day for me and I actually got out of doing my math test review early because my next door neighbor Abby and I went on a walk through our neighborhood. We live in a really big, country-like neighborhood. It's really nice and since we live the farthest back in the neighborhood possible, we walk to and from the front gate... which is 1 1/2 miles (about 2.4 km) and when you walk back it's another 1 1/2 (+2.4 km) which equals 3 miles... (4.8 km) I was surprised that I wasn't sore the next day.

Okay, now a school overview:

Spanish -

Eh, it was okay, we didn't have any homework that was due that class, thank god. I hate doing homework for that class because more than likely I would actually forgot all of it within a day or two. Spanish is just a harder subject for me... that's all. The class work was regular. Nothing abnormal happened.

Reading -

Pretty normal. We got to read at the beginning of the class; I cherished that. And then we began to take the pratice Reading TAKS test which is like the huge test that determines your fate; are you going to high school?! O_O
We began to take the practice one and it was actually really easy. When you look at the answer choices, the answer is really obvious... Like too obvious. The articles I read so far were something about an accordin and about a Spanish band named... Los Lobos which translates the The Wolves in Spanish. It was so pointless. I hate those articles, they make no sense and absolutely random... I also wrote an Editorial and to those who don't know what those are its basically a piece of writing that you get to express your opinion anonyomously. It's pretty good! I mean, I'm pretty decent at it but nothing beats fiction! :D

Math -

MATH TEST!!! D: I took a Math Test today and to those who don't know... MATH IS NOT MY FORTE. I do really bad in math and I always hold a steady low, B in that class. I like the math teacher, despite she's really monotonous... but she's nice! The test was... EASY. O_O Did I just say that? A math test was easy! That's a first and if that does happen I usually end up failing. So, cross your fingers! But I didn't get any math homework! :D

Science -

We were just preparing for a test; that was really it. But! Megan and I (the other cool person who blogs, check out here blog! cuzucare.blogspot.com) were standing around waiting for the bell to ring, the final bell and she got to talking about a show about fish and there was a fish named Chelsea! :D That's awesome but she said that I was all girly-girl... I was a pink fish... -_- Oh well, I was still a fish!
So, I asked the question: What if we were fish? What fish would we bed?
Megan said I should be a Sting-Ray! I agree with that one! I could just totally picture that! Slithering along the ground. :3 Megan: *points down* Hey! It's Chelsea!
Megan is a Dolphin.
My bestie Lisa is a Sea Horse and whispered to us, "I get to go around and impregnant men and keep my slim figure!" Ha.
My bestie Abby is whatever fish Dory is in Finding Nemo. :3
Lisa's twin, Brooke - bestie, is a Blow Fish! At first I said a whale but that sounded offensive as I said it... >.> Anyways, we said this for Brooke. Random Narrator for a show on Discovery Channel: And here swims the beautiful, graceful - *blow fish explodes into ball* Blow fish... XD

Okay, let's get to the prompt before I really get carried away.

If you don' know who the Dugger Family is, I'll tell you this: They have NINETEEN Kids... Yeah, you heard me, NINETEEN KIDS!

Yes, of course, I think it's your choice to have as many kids as you want but SERIOUSLY! I draw the line at NINETEEN! I heard the reason they have so many kids is because they're Catholic and they don't believe in birth control... Okay, first of all, I'm a Catholic too and it doesn't say anywhere - as far as I know, that you are against birth control. That's pathetic really. But, I know that birth control is nifty and all but... NINETEEN KIDS?! REALLY?! They really need to get a hobby. I know the parents... really... love each other... but SERIOUSLY! Just because you're against birth control does not seriously mean that you have to have... sex all the time! Get a hobby!!

Is that all they do?! REALLY?! The kids are like a year apart. And they are still having MORE! The mom is about 40 years old and if you don't know, as you get older, your babies tend to have more complications for... scientific reason. Ask your science teacher and/or parent. And the mom, regardless of this possiblity, had yet another kid. But the kid was born prematurely because the mom had something wrong with her kidney or liver or something. I think nineteen is really enough; you're good, you've proved to the world that people can have as many kids as they want.

I bet the parents don't even take care of the kids because they're too busy either making love or doing... other stuff; like their jobs... possibly. I bet the other kids take care of the younger kids...

Now, if someone is offended by my opinions, sorry, I didn't mean too but I would just like to voice my opinion.

I respect that you can have as many kids as you please but, I draw the line at nineteen. I think that's enough really and I don't think they're done. I just don't like to see babies born with complications or prematurely and die... that's all.

How many kids you do suppose you'll have or any at that? Just a random question; why not... lol. Also! Check out my bestie Megan's blog, cuzucare.blogspot.com. Tick off the reactions things and also comment. I love reader interactions.

And of course, requests for blog topics will always be appreciated too! :D

Peace out, chicas y chicos! (google translate, peeps!)

  1. Awesome blog! Loved it as usual. Um...yeahh about the Duggars I think it's totally up to them if they want to have nineteen children and they aren't catholic I'm not exactly sure what they are but it's some other christian religion. Anyway...yeahh awesome blog! I don't know how many kids I want...I want a big family but NOT nineteen or anything. That's just wayy too much. Maybe like five to eight? I don't really know right now.

  7. Whaaaaat? You have to take tests to get into high school? :O Lol, if this guy in my class had to take that test, he'd have NO chance what-so-ever of getting in :P

I shall check out the blog! And yes, that is WAY too many kids O_O My mom only has like, sixteen? in her family... Well, there's sixteen in Canada, not sure about the Philippines...

  9. K-Dog,

Well... more or less. There tests that we have to take that we HAVE to pass or we can't go to High School like the Reading and Math. We don't necessarily have to pass the Science and American History but... it would just look better as a student.

Wooow, you're mom is one of sixteen? O_O Interesting! My mom is one of four and my dad is an only child.

Yeah, same here with the kids one. I only want one and I will definitely make sure that he/she will not be a brat and I've told people; if my kid is a brat and being mean, don't hesitate to tell me because I personally hate those type of people. And yes, too, my maximum is two... no more...

  10. ...so if you failed, you wouldn't get to go to high school? :( That would SUCK.

Cool! I never knew that, either ^_^

yeah, those kinds of kids ANNOY me. Like, when I was lunch monitoring, some random little girl took a spaz because this guy ripped a plastic reusable bag 0_o So? You go to the frigging grocery store and buy another pack of 150 for $2.50! Don't even get me started on what she said to my lunch monitoring partner, and how she was talking to the teacher! *rolls eyes* So. Extremly. Rude.
