Hey Guys! SORRY for my EXTREMELY long break!

Hey guys! Sorry for my extremely long break! School finished up early June and now I’m back! In fact, I will FORCE myself to continue blogging but now I’ve decided to make it even more better... I’ll make it like a personal-diary-online-blog thing but don’t get me wrong! It’s not gonna be a bunch of facts, trust me, I wouldn’t do that and I’ll be fun about it, besides, I have a lot of time on my hands... I’ll explain why.

It’s summer and it hasn’t been like a... partying every day type of deal or beach parties... or anything like that. It’s been more of... get up and take care of my younger brother, doing the dishes, making meals, and making beds. I feel like a maid but hey, I mean, look at the bright side, I’m actually adapting to good skills I’ll need later on in life but I mean, still... -_- I was expecting my summer to be a WHOLE lot different. I’m not complaining, really. Because this is a WHOLE lot better than school.

It’s the second week of summer and my mom has been working all week except for the weekends and so is my dad but he’s down in Corpus Christi (Google maps is very, very handy sometimes) all week so I only see him on the weekends. My mom works as a baker – sorta. She makes pies for a large pie company called Tooties Pies and my dad owns his own company that works in the oil field. My sister wants to be a Nutritionist, she’s going to college for it, I want to be a Video Game artist, and my brother wants to be a scuba diver. So, we have a pretty dynamic family.

But since my sister is recovering from Hyperthyroidism (where the thyroids are produces too much of what... they should be producing...) and so she's been sleeping a lot so I'm usually left alone with my little brother. He does have ADHD but it's not like... BAD unless he isn't on his medicine.

I'll give you a sit-rep (man, I have used that word in a while! XD) on what's been happening lately.

Well, today I woke up at 8:50ish and my little brother comes bounding into my room saying, "Chelsea! Chelsea! You have to come and see this commerical! It's the funny one!" Now, if you say that to me, about a billion things come to mind because I have seen some pretty funny commercials, like Messin' With Sasquatch and the Esurance where the guy DJs on the weekends. :) But so, I go downstairs and my sister is wrapped up in a blanket on the couch, my cat is in the middle of the floor. This is pretty typical. The commercial ends up being the one about Best Buy where there's a sale on where if you buy some type of laptop you get a Xbox 360 free or something and they usually feature a video game character and I've seen two of them. And since I'm a video game nerd, yeeah :\, I couldn't help but laugh at them. One is for Halo and one for Gears of War - my TWO absolute FAVORITE video games!! But... I'm not going to get carried away because recently I've been having to be careful about who I talk to my video-game passion with -

Ugh! The clock just hit 11:00 AM and I gotta go clean the kitchen. Trust me, I got a little coo-coo clock in the room I'm in so it announces what time it is to me with chimes representing how many hours it is. So... I'll be back in a minute. While I'm gone, enjoy this music, beware it is... screamo but I mean, c'mon they're good to me! And this is the song I've been listening to while typing this! Or... you could just LISTEN TO SILENCE if you're going to be THAT picky... >.> lol :P

That took a LOT longer than I had planned. Plus, my work isn't done. I still have to go make my little brother's bed and mine for that matter! My dad is really strict about making my bed for some strange reason and he's coming back today. Plus, I have to get dressed. I'm wearing my pjs but they're so comfortable! :) But I have to anyway... -_-

Ooh, okay, Wiener. Or however you spell it. The only thing I know about this guy is his name and it sounds funny and every time I see his name on like Yahoo! or something I always say, "WIENER!!!!" And that he's somehow connected to the government and Twitter. I have a twitter by the way! I update it once a day and so, follow me if you have a twitter @pinkteamslocker

Simple right? lol. Anyways. Back to my sit-rep.

I have to be careful sometimes of who I talk about my video-game passion with because some people really think I'm crazy! It use to not bother me but somehow, recently, I've been kinda self-conscious about it! But, I can't help it. It's who I am but don't look at me like I'm gonna change that just because of that. I have friends who love me no matter what! It's just how I grew up, surrounded by those things, those influences so I can't help it so *raspberry* DEAL WITH IT. Ahem...

Speaking of style I'm thinking of changing my style up. I'm going into high school and I'm think about adapting to the "scene" style. Go to google and search it up. Yes, yes... I've always loved that look BUT DO NOT look at me crazily. I'm not gonna go all out like some of those people do. I'm not going to dye my hair, or get weird piercings or go with the thick, black make-up. I'm going for a more subtle look. I'm going to poof up my hair (I know how to do that) but not like MAJORLY. I'm going to keep my scene style really natural looking. I have brown hair with golden highlights and the way I have my hair parted now makes it look like there are a lot of streaks when really, it's only the front of my head. If that makes sense... It's not the back of my head. I've changed my make-up too and I'm going to keep it really natural looking, a lot of brown tones.

I'm going into high school so I'm deciding to start a bit over. I'm going to keep my same personality and everything but just going to change up my look a bit. My mom has been saying that I need to do something with my hair and here's what I have in mind! lol :)

I have a list of stuff I want to get going in front of me.

1. Fake Nails
2. Pretty bow clips
3. hairspray
4. tooth comb
5. better eyeliner

That's what I've got going so far and yes, yes, I have blogged about how fake nails was the second worst mistake of my life and I think I had a third worst mistake of my life but at this time... I can't remember it. But I figured that if I get short ones, it's not a problem! Plus, it'll stop me from biting my nails which I need to STOP doing. I have a horrible habit of it. And I mean, it's SOO much of a habit that I don't know when I'm doing it. So yeah... I need to stop. My mom has even threatened me that she'll take me to a psychologist! NEVER!!

I'm taking Pre-Ap English I next year. (Pre-Ap is like the "advanced" class of English) and so I have Summer Reading. Yay! -_- Not really. Actually, I'm not at all psyched about it. I have to read A Separate Peace and Lord of Flies. Fun, fun... I need to read some, I'll do that later on today. I have to annotate as well... for three themes: Man's inhumanity to man, power and domination, and loss of innocence. Wooo... fun -_- As you can see I am SO excited and eager to get started. *rolls eyes*

Also, my neighbors have gone to the east coast to visit some family or something so they're paying me ten dollars a day to feed their three dogs, two horses, and new cat. I have to venture to their house three times a day. One in the morning, one in the afternoon at one, and one in the evening. Fun... -_- But hey, I'm getting paid for it and they're going to be gone for 12 days so... if I do my math with my AWESOME calculator. I'll get $120!! Woo!

Now that we're on the subject of money, my mom is also paying me to watch my little brother/babysit this entire summer which equals $50 dollars a week... guess how much that racks up to? >.> *gets out sheet of paper, pencil and calendar* Just a sec... $400 dollars!! :D So, for a total, I will earn $520 dollars this summer. O_O That's the most I've ever HAD!!! :D And guess what I'm going to buy? Well, first I have to scheme a plan for my parents to pre-order me a game... >.> Hopefully that won't come out of -

CORRECTION!! By the end of the summer, I'll have $555 dollars! I added what money I currently have now! O_O

Anyways... I'm going to buy a laptop! Because this old computer I'm on now has been giving me some trouble lately and it's SUPER old and I want to get a webcam so I could POSSIBLY to a video blog. O_O Wouldn't that be cool? Do you support my idea?

I've run it through my friends and they say it's a bit dangerous... >.> Because stalkers have a face to go with my name. -_- I've all ready talked about supposedly "online stalkers" with my friend Chiaki and here's what we say: this is our verdict:

Chiaki: I think a lot of people today misjudge online dating or whatever, because they're not used to it. But if you grow up around this sort of stuff, it's completely normal and fine. i meant, that's technology for you ;)

Me: I know! People are so analytic about online dating because they're like, "Ooh! It's a 50 year old man that lives in his mom's basement eating cheese puffs all day and checks out teenagers..." I mean, HOW OFTEN does that even happen? Really... I think it's a great method because you get to meet their personality, not their looks. So, if you fall in love, you most likely fall in love with their personality. And that's what it's all about right?

My words exact... anyways, what do you think about it? I mean, I think it'd be fun because I get to physically talk so you people WHO THINK TEXANS HAVE ACCENTS and can plainly see that I DO NOT HAVE ONE. Or at least... I don't think I do... >.> Anyways. Yeah, and you'll get to see me and... I'm a really energetic person when it comes to talking because I am 25% Italian and I do MANY, many hand gestures and facial expressions. Ask my friends. XD :

So, that's what's been up lately. Not much. But I'll continue my blogging since I'm going to be SUPER bored but when August comes around I won't be available that often because I'll be in Band Camp! I'll be in the High School Marching Band this year! :D Woo! Let's hope I make it into the show the first year! My sister says I have a good chance. Yay! :D So yeah... but I'll do that!
