First Blog Post to Worse? Or the Best?

Now, I am not going to start off my blog with some sappy blog post about how popular and how absolutely stunning I am because none of that is true. I don't want to come off as some Blonde-haired, blue-eyed American chic with a fifty two hundred square foot house with four car garage, four bedroom, and four bathroom grand Victorian house in the Californian coast. Because, frankly, I am not even close to being that type of girl or have a lifestyle as such.

I was born in Texas and plan to live the rest of my life there in the Lone Star state. I am a lover of BBQ and yes, I do say ain't and ya'll. But around here it's in the normal dialect, where as, if you go to California and say ya'll, people look at you as if you've come from a foreign planet. So, get use to it. But we're very respectful, yes sir, we are.

I'm not even blonde for that matter; I'm a natural brunette and brown-eyed girl that has the unusual nick with words; as in, I'm a writer. Yeah, big surprise there. I actually have good grammar (most of the time) but I ain't perfect. I don't normally use to text-dialect but I am a hypocrite there. It's faster to type NVM than the actual words "Never mind". I'm just trying to feel comfortable in the year 2010.

But, here's the catch on me. I'm a girl with a wacky personality. I grew up around boys (my neighbors back then had four boys) so I became use to the boy culture; video games. Guys find game entertaining so do I. And people wonder how I get along with guys so easily. First it was Star Wars, which I am still an adamant fan of, and then I moved onto far deeper and darker universes like Halo and Gears of War. I am strong about video games and get extremely offended and switch to defense mode if you make fun of me for it. (Trust me, school has taught me a lot. I've run across people of both genders that either find it interesting and impressive and also disgusting and just plain pathetic) And me having a way with words doesn't make it easy on them either. Though, video games is one of my forte's, it's also my weakness.

Just a few facts.
I've been a writer for just about five years and it started subtle and innocent. One of my friends (guy) in third grade wanted me to write a Star Wars play and I told them, "What? Are you kidding? I can't write." But when I actually sat down to write, it came so easily. And, badda-bing-badda-boom, here I am now.
I preferably write Science Fiction and Horror because I can't do a petty romance novel about Werewolves and Vampires or Fantasy about wizards and witches. Every time I pick up a fantasy novel, I get about thirty pages into it and just loose interest. I probably will never enjoy fantasy as long as I live and I can't write to save my life.
Quick one: If it has buff armoured guys and gals, big guns, and an alien race, I'll read, write, and play it.
I write short stories, screenplays, novels/series, and machinima scripts. I don't do poems. I'm a good poet but I hate writing poetry.
I'm not published yet but I do personally know two published authors.
I've never completed a book but I'm currently working on one to publish and hopefully get famous for. (Hopefully) It's Military Science Fiction and Horror so hopefully I'll get somewhere in this world...

Some more facts.
I love technology. I am on the computer as much as I can jam into my tight school schedule. But my computer is fairly old (Gosh, it's gotta be at least ten years old) But it runs like a charm and I love it. Since I'm on the computer so much, I am an expert typist ranging from about 50 - 90 words per minute. But the weird programs at school lie about my WMP. It's says 60 with 20 errors. Why? I'm not inaccurate... WE CAN'T BACKSPACE. But of course, we can't use the mouse either it's that old.

I am also a fan of Anime or Manga. I've watched a couple of animes in my free time such as, Fate/Stay Night, Vampire Knight, Claymore, Death Note, and Ergo Proxy. Some of which I'm still in the progress of watching. I can also draw anime pretty good too... so I'm told.

Anything thing else I haven't covered? Ah, yes, I play the trumpet. I named it Swanson because of the cool emblem on the bell. My friend (who is another writer) named hers T-pet. Get it? Think about.

I think that's about it. So, we see? I'm not a stuck-up bitch as you might think; some random girl beginning a blog with no intention. Well, I have no... desired and locked intentions for this blog. I'll just have to see where this takes me. I'm also doing this blog to get a bit more experience with writing different things. That's another thing, I'm very ambitious - a bit too much actually and I'll admit that. Ha, I don't even know if I'll actually keep writing this one because of school. I guess I'll give it some effort.

Before I depart, I would like to briefly discuss the title of this blog: Pink Team's Locker. Yeah, it's an unusual name and it wasn't taken. I'm a fan of Pink Team. You know, Team Slayer in Halo 3? Yep, if there's Pink Team, I go for it. But, the ironic thing is; I'm not a pink girl as in I don't really like the colour pink. Hmm, I still have yet to figure it out; this is when my feminine side has taken over. Well, just deal with it. I like the name so you accept it and go with the flow.

And you flow with whatever floats my boat. (My favourite saying.)
Happy Reading, Writing, Gaming, Looking, or whatever you enjoy doing.

OH! My name's Chelsea by the way. PinkMenace1227. Probably should have started like that. At least my name isn't Summer or Angelina or something.
