My Many Swimming Pool Mishaps

Before I begin this blog post, I want to explain a few things. It's all right, you're not in trouble. :) I think I've found a good schedule for my blog.

On Mondays, I've decided, I will choose a topic to write about and it will solely be just that topic and I reserve either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday (when I find the time) to give you an over-view of my entire day. I'll see how that rolls and how long I managed to keep that up.

Why I've decided this? Because, one; it will give you a good assumption when a new blog post is going to be up that always check because you never know. Two; it's a good schedule for me so I won't have to be pressured to think of a topic every-single-flippin-day. It's very stressful sometimes. So, reccomendations for blog topics will be GREATLY appreciated. In fact, comment and give me one... because I am running dry and on no energy. Lastly, why, is the originial inspiration for the schedule is that this week is Exam Week. *cue lightning, thunder, and organ music* I have to take exams starting on Wednseday and then ending on Friday. Bleh, three whole days of BLEHness. -_-

So, I'm going to write down each class, each exam, and give you an overview so you can get a my entire week in one shazam so I won't have to do it each day of the week because I am VERY busy lately and sometimes I don't get any time to get on the computer at all. So, this is how I'll solve that problem.

Another thing, after Exam week *cue lightning, thunder, and organ music* is our Christmas break! YES! Oh man, I can't even begin to describe how long I've wanted to have a break. It's a much needed break has been overwhelming... -_- So, since I will be on break, school won't be in my way and so I probably will stick to that same schedule.

My ultimate goal is to keep my blog going for a year so it will be an anniversary of one year on September 29th. We would have spent an entire YEAR together! :D

Sound good? Good, because I'm not giving you an opinion. Just kidding, I'm not mean like that. :)

If you don't all ready know, one of my bestest friends ever is named Abby and she's lives next-door to me and she also has a pool. I like to swim; but not public pools because those are really... >.> -.- <.< I don't like swimming in water with different people I don't know and little do I know they could have peed in the pool... And they always put way too much chlorine in the pool and god, my eyes BURN like heck afterward... so, normally I don't open my eyes underwater or I get goggles. And then, problem solved.

Her pool looks like a lake and it doesn't have a lot of chlorine or anything. You can open your eyes comfortably and they only burn a bit and not like your eyes of on friggin' fire. She has a pile of rocks that has water pouring out between the rocks and it looks really good and natural! I love it... but the pool doesn't love me because I have had some... mishaps there.

The first one is a bit degrading and embarrassing but I should get it out sooner or later... I gave myself a black eye! STOP your thoughts right there and your laughter (if there is any) because it was not self inflicted. I didn't mean to give myself a black eye. It was on complete accident. Here, this is what happened:

It was summer, obviously, and Abby, her brother, and I were swimming in their pool and a portion of their pool is shallow for about four feet and then drops off to the depth of the pool. So, what we use to do is run, the best could through the shallow water and then jump. So, I did just that. Abby and I did to together and then right as I hit the water, I feel like someone punched my eye. I emerge from the water get out and inspect myself. Abby asks me if I was okay, I didn't know. Truly, I was confused. Her mom came to inspect me as well and I initially thought that Abby had accidentally hit my eye as we hit the water. With that knowledge, the next day I ended up have a black ring around my eye and therefore I had a black eye but it wasn't like REALLY black or anything. Just a tint. LATER I found out that my knee had come up too high when I was jumping and it hit my knee...

Soo, I gave myself a black eye in conclusion. Now, I don't know if that was a sign or something or if that pool hates me or... if I'm... I don't know. It was strange but I think it was a sign because a couple weeks later after I had recovered from my black eye. I went swimming again... smart me right?

I had those huge goggles on that cover your nose and are widely brimmed around your eyes and so I walked along the edge of the pool to get to the rocks so I could jump off and there was a haze brimming the edges of the goggles so I couldn't see really far to my right or to my left and apparently my foot slipped off the edging of the pool and I fell inside-ways and scraped up the back of my thigh. It was NASTY. It was purple and bleeding inside of the skin and outside. It was nasty... bleh, and it hurt.

Have you had any mishaps at the pool? Knocked into someone? Jumped on someone by accident? Or whatever! I won't know unless you comment. ALSO, recommendations for future blog posts. Awesome, thanks, adios.

Hmm...pooltime accidents...let's see.... There was a time I was planning to get a good running start and cannonball into the pool. But I landed in the shallow part, and scraped my knees all over the tiles. :(

  3. I've always disliked the water.. But I do swim but when I do I wear the goggles that cover your nose too. When I was younger (like 4) I was in floaties and all these girl's starting grabbing on to me and I was pushed down.. Then once I was at a friends pool and we were putting on a show about shamoo and stuff and I was walking around the pool and I fell in (IN ALL MY CLOTHES!!!!)

  5. 0_o You hit your face with your knee? OOOww... The only time I've seen a real black eye was when this guy in my class got hit with a hockey stick in the face. Like...ow! He showed up at school the next day with a super puffy eye, it was all red and bloodshot, itmlooked like it was bleeding, and his eye was also all swollen. It was kind of gross.

Exams!? Why do you need to take exams in eighth grade? Or does high school start in eighth grade where you live? In the province that I USED to live in-British Columbia-high school started in eighth grade, so if I move back there next year, everyone will be in their second year of high school, and I'll just be starting 0_o IT ISN'T FLIPPING FAIR!!! In the Philippines, HS starts in seventh grade 0_o

The only really weird mishap which has happened at a poolwas someone taking a crap in it, and we couldn't go back in for a LONG time. I still didn't want to go back in even when the life guards said it was okay because I swear, I could still see...stuff...floating around in it. BLEH!!

I think you should do a blog on...ME!!! Lol, just kidding. I'm not THAT concieted.

This is off topic, but here's an example of my meanness:

me: *waves permanant red marker around, putting it near people's faces*

James: WHOA! What are you trying to do? Draw on my face?

Me: What makes you think that? *turns to guy in front of me* Can I draw on your face?

    Jake: Um. No?

    Me: Why not?

Jake: Because I like my face the way it is.

    Me: How about your arm?

Jake: What are you going to write?

Me: My name...well, the name I wish I had...

Jake: *rolling up sleeve hesitantly* FINE!

Me: YAY! *writes down the name of his crush with a heart next to it*

    Jake: HEY!

Me: hahahah! You'll have to wait until the skin cells wear off! Becuase it's PERMANANT!!

Jake: No matter, I'll just keep my sweater on.

Me: See you in gym class :P

    Jake: WHAT!?

Me: You must really want to kill me, don't you?

Jake: *trying hard to control his breathing* Oooh yeah...

The whole day, he kept giving me the finger and telling me I was a dead person. But we're really good friends though, so he knows it was a joke. But still, it was pretty mean of me :P The girl he has had a crush on since fourth grade was laughing her head off. Yeah, she knows. Poor him. Kind of. It was still funny though. :3 He's not "mad" anymore though. :P Oh, and jake may or may not be his real name. :P

  6. Chiaki,

I'm not very flexible and I'm still puzzled about HOW my knee was able to hit my eye. And... ew to that guy...

Nope. I'm still in Middle School. For us, K - 6 is in Elementary and 7 & 8 is Middle, and 9 - 12 is in High School. And yes, I get to take EIGHT SUPER FUN exams... -_-

WOW. What idiot craps in a public pool? *sings* Reeetard.

Lol! I don't think that's mean! That's pure genius. Nice job! :D *applauds* (*in low voice* I am not influencing bad behavior)

By the way, I'm ALWAYS on Yahoo! I'm practically on 24/7.
