Who Is Better Girls or Guys? The Answers: The World May Never Know!

It's quite a universal question: Which gender is better? And today, I am going to discuss the ups and downs of both genders. I came up with this topic when I was getting dressed this morning and I made it sort of like a poll. I took a journal to school and asked my friends for their answers. Here are the results of that poll:

Girls - 5
Guys - 2
In Between - 3
Etc. - 1

Now that you've seen the poll results, let me tell you who all I asked. All of these results are from girls. Yeah, you heard it. GIRLS. Strange isn't it? Now let me explain:

First of all, I chose girls for the general reasons. We have more common sense than typically guys do. My evidence; you know on like Americas Funniest Home Videos or practically all of the fails on youtube or some where on the Internet, have you noticed a trend? They're PRACTICALLY all guys! And they do stupid stuff. What do you think is going to happen when you put a couch on wheels and roll down a steep hill?! Do you honestly think it's going to go all the way down without changing direction at all? And then the next thing we see is their faces being planted into either a tree, asphalt, or the grass.
And yes, don't be offended if you are a guy reader, I have good points to say about guys as well.
Another reason is that we can pretty much do anything guys can do but in heels. We can be as strong as guys, we can be as emotionally strong, and physically strong, we can be military officers, we can fix things, we can do dirty work, we're all capable of it.
But, sadly, that's all much more I have to say that is good about girls.

Now, I asked the two girls that chose guys why they chose that and they told me, "Guys give a punch in the face and the girls give a punch to the heart. The heart hurts worse and longer than to the face." and "Girls are too moody and weird with one another about their standards and stuff, and guys are fun and carefree and honestly don't care."
And I have to say I agree with them.

Girls are so nit-picky with one another. There's a standard and if you're outside the standard it's like you set off a friggin alarm. They're all over one another like flies to a corpse or something... maybe not as creepy as that but you get what I mean? They're all in your face and won't leave you alone about it, rub it in your face, stomp on you, and then leave you in the dust. I don't like being harsh about things but it's TRUE! And also, notice that I said, "they" because I would say "we" but I not like that. I don't get in your face about things and nor do I be mean to you about your opinions. There's me and then... THEEEMM. Wow, that sounded kind of self-centered... lol, I'm not like that.

Guys, on the other hand, aren't as complicated and complex as girls are. They just bluntly tell you how they feel either their fists or they just TELL you. They don't hide in the shadows and gossip and create false, vicious rumors about you. They just come up to you and tell you how it is. That's what I admire about men. They don't hide things and they certainly don't deal with friendship problems as much as girls do. But, I'm not saying they don't have rumors and hide things but it's not as bad as girls do it; it's a lot worse with us.

But, like I've already said, they don't really... pay attention to common sense as much as girls do. They don't look at the big picture but LIKE I'VE said, there are guys who do think that way and we applaud you.

I have talked to my Canadian pen pal about this subject prior to me writing this and he claimed that guys were better because they were the ones that had to endure hardships and have to risk their lives and yadda-yadda. My retort: "Uh, who are the ones that SUPPLY the army with men? Who are the ones who have to deal with the HARDSHIPS of BIRTH!? Oh, I think that's girls."
His retort: "Sucker." -_-

Oh, look at that! Girls and In Between are at a tie! I believe I can call myself an In-Betweener. What side are you on? And why, of course. :) I like reader-interaction!

Also, let me briefly tell you what the "Etc." stands for. Someone said aliens and you know, I think I agree with them! Aliens don't have these problems... or do they?! O_O
