One Has Bad Breath, One Is A Bit Strange, And One Has Crazy Hair ~ My Classes

I'm running out of ideas, guys! I need more suggestions for stuff to blog about! I'm on my last planned blog idea. This is a blog-about-anything blog! So, any topic is worth something. I would REALLY appreciate it.

Anyways, my gosh, you should have SEEN the storm that passed over us last night -- or might I say that skimmed us. I live in Texas and we're in a terrible drought, some of you might know. We haven't got decent rain in almost years. The cactus are dying, grass died a long time ago, Oaks are doing all right but they're slowly... decreasing in numbers. The dirt is loose and cats are panting in this heat. It's been 98 - 105 F (37 - 41 C) all summer June - September. It's been pretty miserable and I've was out in that heat on asphalt from August and all the way to November and I highly dought this will be a cold winter.

So, band practice starts (school ends for me at 4:00 and band practice ends at 6:15) and I spot a thin, white cloud to the right, behind the school and below that thin white cloud was a darker shade of blue compared to the sky. Though, it was closely similiar to the sky. I asked my friend Adrian (she's on KP, sometimes, check her stuff out) if I was imagining things that those clouds looked darker than the sky. She looked at the clouds and said, "I don't know. Arnott controls the weather. Who knows,"

Arnott is our band director. I've known him since I was in sixth grade. He's the one that taught me how to play the trumpet and so I do have history with him but that doesn't take away the fact that he is as intimidating as hell when you have to play for him. I don't know what it is, but he's just scary. He's rumored to "control the weather". So, whenever there are storm clouds in the sky - and by god, we NEED that rain - he magically makes the ran flow AROUND the field because if it starts raining, by code, he has to cancel practice.

It did end up being a storm, but about an hour and a half later, as practice was coming to an end, did it start looking bad. The temperature dropped and the wind picked up. And that thin layer of cloud was no longer a thin white layer, it was a thick, roiling mass of blackness drifting towards us. It was crazy looking! Things got bad when the clouds blotated out the sun.

Practice ended and from the parking lot, which was across the way, rain began to fall over there, like a sheet of rain pouring about two hundred feet from us but not where we were standing. It was nuts! We were walking back to the band hall, which wasn't that far from the field where we practice but a powerful gust of air swept through us and little pieces of dirt were like needles on my legs! D: It was CRAZY!

I get my stuff together, sprint to my mom's car, and we start to head home. But there was a dilemma. We have these things called mums and we get them for Homecoming, which is the end of this week (no, no one asked me. What are you talking about? ME?! Pfft.) And my mom wanted to buy one and it was 6:20 when I got in the car and so, we had to run back home, get the other car we have in case there was hail, and go to the store, shop, get my mum, and leave and the stores closes at 7:00, so we were RACING against time. It's all good. I got my mum, I ate sushi for dinner and the storm was enormous.

Heck, I don't even know where it came from. I looked on the radar on weather.com and it just looked like severe patches of rain clumped together. There was a CRAZY lightning show, when we were heading home. It was only about 7:15 when we were on our way home and it was all ready pitch black and the lightning was amazingly scary! It sprawled and splayed across the sky in purples and white. It was CRAZY. And then the thunder came and it had taken about two hours for the storm to actually reach where we were. We saw it three hours before it hit.

I get home and it's pouring outside and I had just finished dinner when I decided to park myself on the couch and watched some Spongebob and suddenly, a HUGE flash of lightning LIGHTS up my backyard. I yelled, "HOLY CRAP!" and curled into a fetal position expecting a loud clap of thunder. It was only a small rumble but still, SCARY. Nothing like your backyard glowing to you like it's daylight.

Anyways, so that was probably one of the scariest moments of my life. Let's get to the topic.

Since I am running out of topics, I have decided to talk about my schdule. STOP! Before you click out or busy yourself with other things, I'll try to make this as interesting and as appealing as I possibly can.

My first period is Graphic Design, which is where I am at now. It's a really quiet class and an awesome class at that. We have access to the computer for a hour a half, we can eat, drink, and listen to music. Plus, we're making some real cool things too with photoshop. I'm looking into becoming a video game artist when I go to collage. It's so interesting! :D

Second period is Alegbra I. I suck at math, so I'm taking what's required this year. I have like an 80 in that class. And for some ODD reason, every single one of my math classes end up having really loud and talkative people in it... I have some of the same people I had in my math class last year. It's an awesome class though but the teacher has some WACKY hair. Her bangs are pinned off to the side and the back of her hair is teased and hair sprayed into this huge poof. It's amazingly crazy.

Third period is English. And that is one HECK of a fast-paced class. It's an honors class so it has to be fast paced. It's not too much to handle but it's an awesome class. The people in the class with me are nice and quiet and knowledagble too, they're not stupid or anything... we are going to read a lot of books for that class. We're about to read The Old Man and the Sea and we're also going to read... uh, Bridge to something... and Animal Farm. Yeah, whoop-ee. I've read about ten books for school so far... NOVELS sometimes. The longest one I read was To Kill a Mocking Bird which was an all right book. It's was good compared to the other ones we had read that year. I'm sitting next to people I like in that class but...

I have to tell you. Me and my group of friend (my twin friends, Lisa and Brooke, Megan, and Abby) know this one guy named well, we'll name him Rick. Rick is a stalker and he's so polite it's creepy. I swear to goodness, I think he's trying to scare us. He stares at Megan all the time and he's in some classes with her. Rick talks to Brooke all the time about personal stuff and we have this thing called the "Rick smile". It's this creepy... twisted smile. *shudders* He's a creeper! And also, about a week ago, Megan's eyes widened (she sits across from me) and she says from the corner of her mouth, "He's staring at ME!" I turn around and DIRECTLY across the way, at the other end of the cafeteria, there HE is, turned in our direction, no doubt his eyes were on one of us... O_O

Rick's in my English class. *shudders* He tends to stare at Brooke and I... all the time. D:

Fourth period of Geography. It's an awesome class. Our teacher, we call him Coach Z because he last name is REALLY hard to pronounce, heck, I don't even know what is it now. And he also coaches football... so, makes sense right? Anyways. He has a heavy Austin accent which sounds like... a black guy. I swear, if I closed my eyes, I would have thought he was a black guy.

Fifth period is Band. Self-explanatory.

Sixth period is Biology. It's my other honors class, advanced, like above grade level. And so far, everything has gone through one ear and out the other with me. Goes RIGHT over my head. We're learning about cells. *falls asleep instantly* BORING. And plus, must of the class is just taking notes so I swear, I want to just snooze. Make up for lost z's.

Seventh is Spanish. And man, I really am NOT liking Spanish at all. But I took a full class in eighth grade so might as well finish it out. I'm sitting next to a senior and he has NO idea what's going on most of the time. I have to read things for him in Spanish and translate. HECK, I'm not even that good to begin with, although I did remain a lot from last year... And the teacher's breath is RANCID. I kid you not, I wanted to just die. She comes over to me: "Si?" "What does -- this mean?" My face O_O - O_o - X_X *falls over* It was like... UGH! Onions. And I HATE unions. Like green unions... *dies again*

Eighth period is my coo-coo teacher. She makes us do odd things. That's speech so... it's a pretty pointless class but it's required so I'm taking it. But anyways, on the first class period, we went out in the hallway and we had to say our names, think of an adjecative and a hand motion... I did "Colorful Chelsea" and a little rainbow hand motion. *facepalm* It was awful... But for some reason, the teacher REALLY likes me. She makes small talk with me all the time and is really flexible with me. *fist pump*

Class is about to be over... so I gotta split. PLEASE comment and give me some ideas guys. I'm scrambling right now... if you don't want me to fail again with this blog, give me some ideas. What do you want to know about me? What do you want me to talk about? What do you want to know my opinion about?

C'mon guys... simple. Also, how well am I doing? Did this post suck or rock? How should I know, so click the check boxes and give me some feedback. Bad feedback is better than none! Also... good is apprecaited.

Feed my koi, comment, do the poll, yeah, all that jazz.

Tally-ho!

  1. Graphic design sounds amazing! As for suggestions, when there's not anything interesting in your life to write about, you could post some of your stories, or take some photos. :/ Not very good suggestions, but I hope they help!
